Trials take place where I am based in the Southern Highlands, NSW (Gundungurra Nation land) on set trial dates.
The trial is a chance for me to work with you to create a beautiful look that you absolutely love and will last the whole day. It’s also an opportunity for you to meet me in person. If you don't want to have a trial that is completely fine as well, often brides don't, and we'll just discuss what you had in mind in the lead up and on the day. I'm confident I'll be able to create a look you'll love!
Trials are exclusively reserved for my brides who have already confirmed their bookings. I work on around 80 weddings per year so I need to be able to accommodate wedding bookings and trials for all of those brides. You can view an extensive catalog of professional and unedited iPhone images on this site and my Instagram so you can see the quality of my work.
I recommend that on the day of the trial you wear a top colour close to the colour of your wedding dress. This will help to give you a better idea of what it will look like on the day. Please bring a picture from my Instagram feed of a makeup look that you like. Some people also find it helpful to find a photo of themselves where they like how they look in that picture. This can help me to identify what you might like. Of course, we’ll discuss what you had in mind before we get started but reference pictures are always appreciated. That way we can be on the same page as makeup is so personal.
I also want to let you know that I absolutely welcome you being open and honest at the trial with what you do and don’t like once we complete the look. I absolutely will not be offended. Everyone likes different things and I want you to feel like the best version of yourself so don’t hesitate to let me know if something doesn’t feel like you so we can adjust it.
Trials usually take 45mins but allow an hour.
